Abstract

The article discusses different ways to use expert systems in preparation of future teachers. An algorithm of building of planning expert system and examples of its application for the construction of various knowledge bases are proposed.

Purpose: To conduct a theoretical analysis of the use of program shell BESS in teacher training.

Objectives: 1) to analyze ways of expert systems usage in teacher training; 2) to consider the possibility of diagnosis of knowledge and skills of students in constructing knowledge bases of expert systems.

Object of research: the process of teaching students in higher education with the application of expert systems.

Subject of research: specifics of using program shell BESS in teacher training.

Methods of research: analysis of the literature devoted to usage of expert systems in education.

Results: the effectiveness of using program shell BESS in teacher training is proven.

Conclusions: the use of building knowledge bases of expert systems for diagnosis of knowledge and skills of students contributing to students better learning.
